Our take
The Behringer DDM4000 is a beast of a digital mixer with tons of features for the price. I loved the ability to layer effects with the four FX engines and the sampler is a nice bonus for live remixing. The 5 channels give plenty of room for turntables, CDJs, and a microphone. However, the learning curve is steep—the manual is essential. Build quality is typical Behringer: functional but not rugged. Note that this used unit came without a power supply, so factor that cost in. If you can get it cheap, it's a bargain for its capabilities.
